talktome
voice calls with your coding agent

Your coding agent can call you.

TalkToMe is a macOS menu-bar app. The agent rings you from the session it already runs. You answer and talk. The agent keeps its model, tools, files and history.

how it works

  1. 01

    Ask for a call

Tell the agent in its session: "Call me with TalkToMe."

  2. 02

    It rings

The agent runs talktome call with its session ID. A ring shows on your screen.

  3. 03

    Answer and talk

Select Answer and speak. Your words reach the session as a message.

  4. 04

    It talks back

The agent replies in voice. Select End, or the agent hangs up itself.

what you get

◆The agent you already use

Codex, Claude Code, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, or any host that can run shell commands on your Mac.

◆Local speech by default

Whisper hears you. The system voice or Kokoro answers. Both run offline. ElevenLabs is optional.

◆Knows when you stop

Smart Turn, a small local model, decides when you finished speaking. A fixed pause is the other option.

◆Missed calls and call back

The menu bar counts missed calls. Call back joins the same session again with no ring.

◆Private by design

The server listens only on 127.0.0.1 behind a local token. Transcripts are off unless you turn them on.

◆No model inside

TalkToMe supplies no language model. It records, transcribes, sends the text, and speaks the reply.
